The Limit Companies page is used to control which companies are shown in the directory or on the roster by setting restrictions. These restrictions will modify the database query so that only the desired companies are available.
Any company which has selected 'No, do NOT share information' will automatically be removed (or partially hidden) from all directory and roster pages.
Control which companies are shown in the directory or on the roster.
Use the following fields to restrict the companies shown in the directory or on the roster: Status, Purpose, Company Membership Types and Company Access types.
Note
You can add Custom Restrictions, limiting the query by any available field in the company database. It is possible to set up nonsensical restrictions (example: URL is less than 5). This can result in all of your companies being hidden from the directory. Always test your results!
If you select contact types to be shown with companies, users with that contact type will be printed below the company name on rosters and on the company details page of directories. The users available with each company have no impact on the database query used to get the list of available companies.
