Al Yanes
Chairman & President
Al Yanes has served as president of the PCI-SIG since 2003 and is a Distinguished Engineer for IBM in the Engineering & Technology Services Group. With 20 years of experience working with ASIC design in the I/O industry, Yanes holds 25 patents for PCI and other I/O technologies.
Yanes also holds a position as chairman of the PCI Bridge Workgroup and serves as the PCI and PCI-X technology expert for the IBM Rochester office and Server Group. Yanes is involved in ASIC design for IBM's Engineering and Technology Service Group.
Yanes holds a BS in computer engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Reen Presnell
Executive Director
Reen Presnell is the Vice President and General Manager of VTM's Initiatives Management & Logistics Group. During his seven plus years at VTM, he has directly supported the efforts of numerous technical initiatives by providing marketing and operational services as well as policy and strategic direction-setting. Reen has served in title positions within several initiatives to include Executive Director and Ad-interim Chairman.
The project team under Reen's direction is comprised of over 45 dedicated professionals and provides the bulk of resources for initiative management clients, to include staffing 30 plus organizations.
Reen has earned an M.B.A. from the University of Portland with an emphasis in Global Business and Marketing in addition to a B.S. in Business Administration - Marketing and Management from Southern Oregon University.
