PCI-SIG Announces New Board of Directors

Leading Computing and Communication Firms
Comprise Group Leadership

Portland, OR - July 1, 2003 - The PCI-SIG™, the Special Interest Group responsible for PCI Express™, PCI-X™, and PCI™ Conventional industry-standard I/O technologies, has elected a new board of directors to lead the 800+ member industry association. The elected directors are responsible for the direction of the PCI-SIG and its technologies. The new board is comprised of industry-leading companies in the computing and communications arenas.

Individual board members are as follows: Dale Gulick, Advanced Micro Devices; Mike Krause, Hewlett-Packard; Al Yanes, IBM; Ramin Neshati, Intel Corporation; Richard Solomon, LSI Logic; Tony Pierce, Microsoft Corporation; Gary Simpson, Phoenix Technologies; David Dorrough, ServerWorks Corporation; Kevin Main, Texas Instruments. The board also named the following officers: Tony Pierce as chairman and vice president, Al Yanes as president, David Dorrough as treasurer and Dale Gulick as secretary.

"The new board of directors brings a wealth of expertise to the management of the PCI-SIG.
