PCI-SIG Announces 2004 Developers Conference

Conference to Deliver Comprehensive Update on PCI-SIG Technologies

PORTLAND, Ore. - May 11, 2004 - The PCI-SIG®, the Special Interest Group responsible for PCI Express™, PCI-X®, and Conventional PCI™ industry-standard I/O technologies, announced that it will host the 2004 PCI-SIG Developers Conference on June 14 and 15 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California. The 2004 PCI-SIG Developers Conference will provide PCI-SIG members with the latest information on PCI Express and PCI-X technologies including updates on specification development and implementation implications. PCI-SIG experts, including some of the original authors and architects of both PCI Express and PCI-X 2.0 specifications, will present attendees with the most comprehensive technical training available. In addition to technical sessions, an exhibit area will showcase the latest developments and designs based on PCI Express and PCI-X 2.0 architectures and tools from these leading organizations:

Compliance Workshop
Immediately following the Developers Conference, PCI-SIG will host a three-day compliance workshop in Milpitas, California with registration starting at 6:00 p.m. on June 15. Member companies are invited to bring PCI-based systems or cards to test compliance and interoperability. Testing includes products based on the following technologies:
