PCI programming

Hi All,

Since there were no replies to my inquiry about the real time clock
conflicting
with IDE bus master transfers, and one person didn't even know what the
real
time clock was, I'll assume that nobody had a clue.  This isn't really
surprising since this particular conflict should not be happening.  It may
be
local to this SiS chipset.  I thought it might be the issuing of a CLI or
STI
instruction, or resetting the PIC mask while a transfer was going.  Maybe? 
Any
speculation?
