i960RP in asynchrounous mode
Dear all,
Intel has just announced some modifications in the i960RP specifications :
the asynchronous mode will not be supported. Our design on the i960RP was
used to realize the interface between 2 processors systems through the PCI
bus (and so through the i960RP). Initially the clocks from the primary and
secondary PCI busses were independant. But we now need to synchronize the
clocks of our 2 processors and more precisely the clock of the processor on
our PCI expansion board to the primary PCI clock. Does any one know a
integrated PLL component that could regenerate all the frequencies
necessary to a Pentium (following jitter, skew Pentium specifications) from
a PCI 33 Mhz clock ? Does any body already meet this problem ?
Thanks,
Michel
