Chipsets

Yea verily,

1) where do I get the data sheets for the SiS chipset(s) used on PCI buses,
in
place of the Triton chipsets?

2) will the Triton chipsets handle IDE bus mastering without any special
chip-specific code?  The SiS chips require I/O unique to that chipset; they
do
not adhere to the standards.  They'll do reads via bus mastering but not
writes.

3) what other PCI chipsets are in use besides the Triton family and the SiS
family, and where do I get the data sheets on them?
