AMCC S5933 DMA transfers.

Hi everyone,


HELP   HELP    HELP.....


	For the last few days I am trying to initialize DMA transfers
(just writes for now) without success. I got the AMCC's developer kit
and I spent the last 10 days playing with it. I can access the
configuration
space as well all the internal registers, but I have problems to get
DMA transfers (using the MWAR, MWTC registers) to work. I believe that
my problem is with my interrupt setting and handling routines. I initialize
the involved registers successfuly but as soon as the MWTC reaces zero
my computer beeps, prints few characters (trush) and crashes.
Unfortunately I have not any experience with interrupts and I can not
help myself a bit. FOr the routines I used the ones that AMCC provides in
their data book. If any one has any C routines for settitng and haddling
interrupts or can point me to an ftp site I can get them or even to
a good book I will be much oblidged.
