RE: decreasing bus clok speed

All triton based pentium motherboards have a fixed busclk/2 PCI clock...
Only way to affect the PCI clk is to slow down the CPU clock...

	CPU	BUS	PCI
	75mhz	50Mhz	25
	90	60	30
	100	66	33
	120	60	30
	133	66	33
	166	66	33

If you examine the switches or jumpers for your motherboard,
you'll probably find other combinations, such as 100/50/25

Hi,

sorry if this question has already beenasked before,

but is there a way to decrease the bus clock frequency ?

The reason for this is that I will use a 2 layer PCB for testing my
fpga-pci interface.
I've already looked in the bios setup, but I haven't noticed a clock
divider so far (like CLKI/4 in the older motherboards)

Thanks in advance

Kim
