The AlphaServer 4100 supports bursts up to 8KB on two peer 64 bit PCI
buses. Using large bursts will increase PCI utilization and delivered
bandwidth. We've seen 256B bursts on PCI storage adapters; larger for
PCI NVRAM (the NVRAM card limited bandwidth with IRDY# stalls).
