I have two further entries for the list of "creative" BIOS
implementations:
6) some BIOS do not check the checksum of the BootROM.
They only check the PCI Data Structure.
7) some BIOS have problems with shrinking BootROMs, especially
if the runtime size is changed to 0. They make the init
size of memory read only and ignore the change. This causes
OS like Windows NT or OS/2 to crash.
How about a statement of the BIOS guys?
thanks
Michael Karl
