What is the RI# signal you are talking about? The goal of the
working group is to make the definition close enough to the
cardbus WAKEUP pin to allow common Si.
The electrical definition of this signal will handle the
bussing problem by requiring that the leakage current into
this pin when the device is not powered to be less than X uA.
It will be an active low signal and the system will be
required to pull it up if it has wakeup enabled.
-Bruce Young
As long as we are going to make a new pin lets do it so that
it is close to the RI# signal that exists today.
We also must make it not bussed as any one connected to
a bussed signal that is totally powered down will keep
a wake up brom being signaled (active high signaling) or
signal it all of the time (active low).
Comments?
