PMC busmode pins

A few questions on the use of PCI mezz. busmode pins :
- do BUSMODE[4:2]# pins need to be tri-stated at any point ( can they just be
pulled up/down ) ?
- is BUSMODE1# always driven by the mezzanine card or does it tri-state after
a certain amount of time?
