HI All,
A few days ago a posting arrived from France regarding a PCI to memory
bandwidth reduction when switching to a Pent Pro machine and 440FX chipset.
I have been unable to reply to this author, my mail gets bounced back and
I am unable to track down why.
He reported a 115 Mbytes/sec bandwidth to memory using the 430FX chipset.
Is this really possible? Have you been able to achieve this? What motherboard
has actually performed this? It seems very fast, approaching the DRAM limit.
Thanks,
Bruce Pirger
