Anyone know who is manufacturing 'multi-board' PCI devices? I've heard
a rumor of such where a given conceptual 'device' spans multiple
physical PCI devices on more than 1 add-in card. Why would you build something
like this with the availability of PPB, or even just multi-function? More
throughput? A desire to see how badly your O/S falls over when working
with such a device? :-) Anyway,
any pointers to such (a spec perhaps?) would be most appreciated.
