Hey there.
Do you get the SIG Arbiter newsletter? Just learned this exists and
having been a SIG rep for the past 3 years I find it a little hard to
believe I've never seen a copy of the newsletter. Is it new? Only for,
I dunno, 'primary' (more than $2.5K/year) members?
Also, anyone know when the web site will be complete, e.g., the list
of current ECN's online would be so nice, esp. since I've only received
like one ECN from the SIG since 1995 or so, though rumors exist of several
proposals, spec mods and so forth 'in the works.'
Sometimes I wonder what I get for my membership. I didn't even get an
extra free copy of the spec when I renewed SCO's membership this year.
I do get to leave lots of voice mail, I suppose. Maybe for $5k/year they'd
call back (PCMCIA calls back, for comparison.)
