Hi PCI experts,
I am designing a slow PCI target device (slow as defined on p.80). I
have the following questions:
During configuration cycle, which of the following is true?
1. Since address decoding is done externally (by IDSEL), the slow
target device MUST claim the transcation as if it was a fast
device. (i.e. right after FRAME is asserted)
or
2. It can claim the transcation slowly (i.e. 3 clocks after FRAME
is asserted).
Also, are slow devices common?
