I've encountered CPU overclocking many times, but not so much PCI
overclocking.

What surprises me about this case, is that the PCI bus is overclocked
but the CPU isn't.

Also the fact that it's not a DIY -- it's a product with its normal
configuration being overclocked. It's not the first to do that, but
people who knowingly overclock their CPUs are smart to invest in CPU
fans; a cooler CPU *can* run faster. But what do you cool if you
overclock your PCI bus and your memory system?

If you overclock the CPU, maybe it will just hang before it gets to
corrupt your files. If you overclock the PCI, maybe it will keep
running, scribbling all over your disk.
