-- Another *silly* problem is the WIDE variation of how motherboards are made.  I 
have a very good dual Pentium Main board, but the LAST (ie, 4th) slot does not 
have DMA capability....  This would also keep your DMA Mastering board inactive 
on the bus.  

It is generally considered that you would want one *golden* board around to test 
such things....   You alsomight email the mainboard maker & see what kind of 
response you get.....
