I am having problems with the AMCC S5933 PCI Matchmaker.

Accessing the expansion rom via its base address (30h) will generate a
parity error in SUN workstations and DEC alpha stations. I think that
these problems are not seen on PC because parity detection will probably
be disabled on this platform.

Has anybody seen these problems also? Is AMCC going to do anything about
this? Is the S5933 truly PCI compliant (they are not on the PCI Product
Commitment List of the PSI SIG) ?

I am putting these questions here because during the last months I did
not get any decent answers from my AMCC distributor.
