Hi all,
Has anybody had an experience with slow I/O devices connected
to the i960RP local bus ? Is there a limit on the number of
wait-states (NOT READY) that the I/O device can assert ?
It seems that there is, at least with the default power-up
values of the i960RP's registers. I have a device that needs a
maximum of 16 microseconds to get data on a read transaction,
and it seems like the i960RP is aborting the read operation
after something like 4 microseconds.
Any comments are appricieated.
