Hello PCI experts,
The PCI SPEC (Rev 2.1) is saying that during reset REQ64# can be
sampled, informing an agent if it is connected to a 64 bit bus or not.
Recalling that 64 bit transactions are dynamically negotiated on a per
transaction basis anyway, why it is required to know it immediately
after reset?
(That is, ACK64# can be pulled up and all 64 transactions are
converted to be 32 transactions anyway)
Thanks, and best regards,
Boaz Shahar
