Hi All,
Does anyone know the peak DMA bandwidth from DRAM to a PCI master over
the Intel 440FX chipset? Has anyone seen more than more than
~41MB/sec when transferring in this direction?
I am using a dual-PII Dell PC with 440FX chipset and EDO DRAMs. I
know my PCI master can do better than 41MB/sec and would like to know
if there anything I can do to the PC to boost the DMA performance. I
have been playing with DTE and DTD bit of 440FX's DBC register, but it
doesn't seem to make any difference.
Thanks,
James
