PCI SIG Annual Meeting reminder

Dear PCI SIG Members,

This is a reminder that the PCI Special Interest Group Annual Meeting will
be  on Tuesday, May 19, 1998 at the San Jose Convention Center.  This event
will be the opportunity for the members to meet face to face for a PCI SIG
update as well as conduct the Steering Committee elections.  The
registration deadline is May 8, 1998.  Invitation packet is available to
download from the PCI SIG web site (www.pcisig.com).  

Nominees for the Steering Committee elections are:

· Advanced Micro Devices
· Cirrus Logic
· Compaq
· Gateway

· Mylex
· Phoenix Technologies
· Texas Instruments


Meeting Agenda:
Tuesday, May 19, 1998 (5:00pm - 8:00pm)
· Light buffet style dinner & cocktail reception (5:00pm - 5:30pm)
· Opening keynote Warren Andrews, Editor in Chief of RTC Magazine 
· PCI SIG updates and election process -- Warren Questo
· Presentations by nominees for Steering Committee (5 min. for each presenter)
· Plans for '98 -- Warren Questo
· Wrap up / announcement of balloting results -- Warren Questo

Mr. Warren Questo, Chairman of the PCI SIG, will present the PCI SIG update
including the latest information on the PCI Specification 2.2 revision and
the direction of PCI SIG.
