Hi
My system requires a PCIRST# signal in order to refresh it self
Any time the computer restarts.
Recently we found an non resetable computer names IBM 340 (Model DJAA-31700)
This computer has an SiS 5511/2/3 chipsets and we did not find any SW command
That asserts the PCIRST# signal.
The SiS spec describe an out to port CF9 that should generate a HW reset
(this method is used with the Intel chips too) ,But it doesn't.
It looks very odd that there is no way in this computer to assert the PCIRST# signal
Even Windows doesn't manage to raise the PCIRST# signal when it restarts.
Does any one know of a way to HW reset this strange platform.
Thanks ,Yaron
