in fact, he said SCO Unix. http://www.sco.com/ I went ahead and perused
this site, and quickly stumbled on the Hardware Developers site:
http://www.sco.com/hdk/

Guess what? SCO UnixWare 7 and SCO OpenServer 5 have completely DIFFERENT
driver interfaces! Isn't Eunichs fun? And, somehow I won't be surprised if
neither of these is completely compatible internally with older SCO ODT R3
systems.

It appears there is more sample source available for UnixWare than there is
for SCO OpenServer (OpenServer has SCSI, Network, and Graphics drivers, while
UnixWare samples also include I2O, and Platform Support).

I suspect the original poster should familiarize himself as much as possible
with the various SCO development kits, then contact SCO for sample
communications driver sources.
