Herewith I am giving my problem(s).

I am designing a PCI add on board. It does contain the
PCI device and it is target only. It doesn't become Master at all.

I would like to know the different config registers that are to be
implemented by this target device.
Do I need to implement all the 16 registers of config( 32 bit )?

If I need to implement all the registers, can I hardwire them
which I am not using? Can I hardwire Vendor ID and Device ID to
zero?(I am not selling this board in the market but only to a
known customer. )
Shall I need to get the vendor ID and Device ID for this?

I have got three registers in my target device. I would like to
map them to memory. Will it be ok to hardwire bit 0 of the BAR0
to map them in memory?

I feel to implement only Status, Command and BAR registers.
Pl suggest me will it be suffice for my target.

Also my registers of target are of 16 bit. If I don't connent the
upper 16 bits of PCI data bus, will there be any problem?

Pl suggest me. I read PCI specs 2.1 and then only asking these
questions. Pl spare some time to answer my questions.

Thank you in advance
