Hi!
Can You help us?
Our design contains a CPU-less GT64011-P-1 on a PC PCI bus card.
We would like to use the '011's PCI BIOS Expansion ROM feature.
The docu.-s say that the BIOS Exp. ROM uses CS3 device port to access the
PCI BIOS Exp. ROM. After reset the bus width of CS3 dev. bus is 32 bit.
We would like to use a 8 bit EPROM for BIOS Expansion ROM.
Is there any solution to make '011 available to read this ROM with 8 bit
width, not width 32 bit?
...The other solution (worst case) would be to connect 4 pieces of 8bit
Flash to this CS3 dev. bus, but it seems too expensive solution for a short
BIOS Expansion code.
If You have a low part numbered solution to our problem please send it
back!
Thanks
