While on the subject of reset, it is also a good idea to guard against non-monotonic rise on RST# using a schmitt input. Even though the PCI spec prohibits this, I have seen some pretty ugly RST# waveforms on a couple of big name popular motherboards. Syncing RST# helps, but does not guarantee that you won't see glitches on your internal reset. FYI, Brian
