TA660 has 2 different types of checking.

1- Protocol errors which check for 58 different errors on the bus simultaneously and displays the error in synch with the bus signals in the state mode so the user may decide what caused the error.

2- PCI device compliance test which checks the PCI devices for compliance per the PCI SIG check list for approval to the vendor list.

What do you mean it "does PCI checklist"?  Do you mean it has the standard
automatic flagging of any anomalies seen while listening to PCI traffic (I
think all three analysers do this), or does it do more, for example, does
Catalyst have a canned test suite to exercise the bus?

Catalyst TA660 is very easy to use!
Good software, good metrics, does PCI checklist.

Vmetro support guys are very helpful and its easy to talk to an engineer who
really knows the product if you have unique case requirement(s).
