Re: PCI 64-bit addressing - problem



Windows NT 4.0 cannot address memory (system or PCI)
above 4GB.  Some systems may contain a custom driver
allowing access above 4GB, but this is not contained
in a service pack.  

FYI, Windows 2000 is supposed to support access above
4GB, but only up to 8GB.  Hopefully, MS will address
that limitation soon as it is nowhere near the
addressing capability of many modern processors.
