You would like them less if you try to get complete product specification.
Try asking about the fusemaps - like I did. I have a thread archived - you
would not believe how uncooperative they become when you try to get
enough data about their products so you can just buy their silicon
and depend on nothing else on them or their associates (owners?).

They said they give this kind of data (fusemaps of the Coolrunner which
I already had from the Philips times, I just asked about a detail I could
work out myself within a day or so) only to those who have already
made $9 million/ quarter.... I wonder how software vendors manage
to make $9M/quarter before having the data to program about, but to
me there was no point continuing the dialogue. I would never had even
attempted a contact to Xilinx had they not got control over the Coolrunner,
a very regretable fact...
