Graphics card schematics/design

I am looking for some resources for a project I am undertaking.  Any
material concerning PCI graphics card hardware design, and more
specifically, the logic for the card and the controller would be helpful.
Any generic logic schematics would be very useful.

If you are unable to help directly, I would appreciate references to anybody
or any company that may be prepared to supply this type of information.
None of this is going to be used commerically at all, so early generation
PCI design will be great - any I'm certainly not asking for latest
blueprints, etc.
