PCI compatible microcontroller

Hi,
    I am making a hardware emulation system. I want to control the
emulation system through a PC. I wanted to know if I can get a
microcontroller which can be interfaced to PCI slot of the PC i.e
microcontroller should, by some means be able to interface into the PCI
slot of my PC and the other ports of the microcontroller can be used to
control the emulation sytem.
    Please suggest me some company's microcontroller which I can use.
