pci-x chip survey

Dear pci reflector Readers,

 

I'm conducting an informal survey to share with readers of this email reflector of ALL pci-x related chips in 3 major classes;

C1-pci-x Host bridge chips (H)

C2-pci-x Device interface chips (D) and

C3-pci-x Bridge chips (B)

 

Any information on announced or unannounced chips or devices emailed to cdsnyder@earthlink.net will be kept confidential if so stated. These chips will be listed as xd-H1..2..3, xd-D.. or xd-B.. (xd = x-doe Host, x-doe Device or x-doe Bridge).

 

I will share survey reports of what I find with on this reflector once a month, unless I get a major response suggesting this isn't the correct forum for this type of survey.

 

Minimum suggested survey information:

 

Chip Class:  H, D or B.   (Host, Device or Bridge)

Description:

Product Announcement Date:   (Estimates okay)

Product Ship Date: 

Any Technical details; (Speed, width, function, OS supported, Open or Closed System use, etc)

Other important info:  Like delays or holds

 

I am conducting this survey as a private PCI enthusiast and only speak for myself.
