You said it, almost. What about the rest?
What if you want to do your independent design?
Pay the $2500? I still do not think it is a good idea
to play by rules invented by someone to prevent you from
doing something.
And yes, there _are_ small guys who are capable of developing
their own IP etc. The fact that the big ones have to work so hard
to protect themselves is only one hint on brain distribution.
So my proposal is still valid - use that 0xfa3c vendor ID
and look for a free, listed subvendor ID. I'll setup the
page as soon as someone who needs this asks me to do so - or if
I need it at some point (which I doubt, I live in a 'wintel sterile'
environment :-) ).
