RE: Embedded Ethernet controllers
Why the Intel 10/100 82550 or 82559 of course.
See

for details.

Subject: Embedded Ethernet controllers
Does anyone know of a good embedded 10/100 ethernet controller (i.e. non-PCI
interface)? The only one I have been able to find is the LAN91C110 from
SMSC.
However, I am not that impressed with the chip - 5V part, requires slow
SRAM,
etc, and would like to at least have some alternatives to look at.
