testing tools

Hi,

We are now developing new hardware for our new system and we are searching
for tools (software and/or hardware) to analyse, test and debug it.  The
hardware is a custom PCI card containing FPGAs and ASICs.

We are searching for a test environment that will allow us to generate read
and write cycles to PCI and AGP memory spaces, run memory tests in PCI and
AGP memory spaces, dump blocks of system memory, etc...
We want to be able to write big blocks to memory from a file and also read
from memory and put the result in a file.
We also want to test the maximun practical bandwidth with our devices (PCI
cards).
The PCI bus will support 32 and 64 bit PCI at 33 MHz and 66 MHz.
We are researching something like an exerciser but software.
