GSYNC problem
We are testing our new ASIC switcher chip in two modes: PCI and GSYNC.
It is working in PCI and not in GSYNC; reason being that our ASIC is not
responding with RDY# signal after we assert DS# from FPGA; regarding
RDY# is the same pin as STOP# in PCI mode (and that mode is O.K.) and
that that pin is three-state output, I am wondering if there is anything
we can do which, maybe, mother board did in PCI mode (pull-up, active or
passive) or something else. Basically, that pin stays always high, at
least that is what we are seeing on scope and logic analyzer.
Any idea?
Regards, Goran.
