RE: Hot Plug Compliant Silicon



I believe standard PCI hotplug is designed to work with silicon that is
simply PCI 2.2 compliant.  If you can afford the efforts and if your device
is something that customers would desire to hot swap, I think it would be
very worth while to make your device compliant for direct use in PICMG 2.1
CompactPCI Hot Swap applications.  see  http://www.picmg.org/
