RE: PCI Edge Fingers for Thicker than standard PWB
We had this issue with a proto for the previous company I worked for and
with a different form-factor for my current employer. After considering the
effects on connectors, card guides, and panel attachments, we determined it
is well worth the effort to figure out how to meet the board thickness specs
(redesign layout with different stackup, more capable board house, etc). --
