There is an ECN to PCI 2.2 to specify low-profile PCI cards. It defines two
new form factors: MD1 and MD2. If you can't find it at PCISIG, I can send a

Hello everyone,

I heard through the rumor mill that there is a new mechanical specification
for PCI to facilitate adding PCI cards to 2U server boxes without the use of
a riser card.  As I understand it, it is pretty much the same as the
original form factor, but the card would have limited height, so that it can
sit vertically inside a 2U box.

I was told that the spec would be available on the Web, but I couldn't find
it.  Can anyone shed more light on this?
