RE: PCI to mini pci adapter
How
about?:
Not
cheap (the latter cost $125 ea. in March. 2001).
Make
sure you don't plug in backward :-)
Note that there is no LDO to make 3.3v from 5V, so your
motherbaird MUST provide 3.3V.

adapter
This
link has about all of the options that can be found out there:
http://www.dli.de/Products/Bus_and_Interface_Tools/pci_adapter.html
For
conversion from a PCI add-in card to a mini-PCI edge connector form factor, I
have found nothing available.
This is most likely because of the mechanical
variance of maneuvering into a slot on any given platform/motherboard which
leads to a custom design for each instance.
If you have any luck
finding a reliable connector/adapter please let me
know.

Hi,
Anyone ever heard anything about a passive Standard (32
bit) PCI to mini PCI convertor? Looking at the specs it should to my opinion
be possible, but I couldn't find anything. Anyone knows who sells or
manufacures these things?
Thanks,
Richard
