De-bugging PCI, MiniPCI & Cardbus-32 Interfaces
Being new to 'art' of developing PCI plug-in boards I
am interested in the techniques available to analyse
and de-bug PCI, Mini-PCI & Cardbus-32 interfaces.
The PCI spec kind of indicates that you cannot probe
signals on the PCI bus directly due to loading
limitations - so I assume that some other technique is
available. I am aware that bus analysers exist for
standard (desktop PC etc.) PCI but having never used
them I don't if these are suitable for de-bugging the
hardware.
Can anyone recommend a solution to de-bugging these
interfaces please, preferably a solution which is
compatible with all three types of interface?
Thanks,
Mark C
