Re: about Intel's FW21154-BE
Are you releasing a new datasheet soon? The current one on
developer.intel.com shows the following date and doc number:
Order Number: 278108-002
July 1999
And the diff doc's I got from Arrow/Wyle and my Intel rep (Third Wave in
the DC metro area) is:
Order Number: 278395-002 dated June 2001.
I have a design I'm currently working on that has 8 21154's on it.
As to contacting the disty, they laid off all of Arrow's Intel FAE's
since all they are allowed to register is the bridges and MAC/PHY's. I
was lucky in that Third Wave picked him up to support Intel.
Intel pulled all the support for IXP's and other semi's from the
distributors. And Arrow is no small player...
Sad, since the design wins usually come form the disty network...
