Fwd: PCI-X Compatibility
Hi,
This is a technology limitation, nothing to do with the PCI-X spec. The new
0.18uM process cannot be 5 volt tolerant. Only 0.25uM or older process can
be 5 volt tolerant. PCI-X as well as PCI 2.3 is NOT 5 volt tolerant.
