The reason I asked this question is that the spec says that PERR# should be
to report parity errors during all PCI tansactions except Special cycle.
That means even during normal Cycle which gets a retry which however
doesn't make sense since it got retried and no data was transfered.

Hello Mr.Nagesh,
U are not supposed to assert PERR# in arbitration period.PERR# is only
applicable in data transfers.

Hi Everybody,

What should PERR# signal highlight in case of parity error for a Retry
situation on the bus? Suppose A master were to issue request and it gets
retried and the data never got transferred, but a parity error has occured
is it valid for us to assert PERR#?
