AIX drivers and how to access the configuration spaces!
I have written a device driver for:
IBM Power-PC
AIX 4.3
PCI board
The problems: How do I specify the physical location of the PCI board ?What is the functions in the kernel for accessing PCI configuration registers? And is there any 'find device' call just as 'pci_find_device' for Linux?
In detail:
I only find the 'pci_cfgrw' kernel service referring to pci. One of its arguments is the pointer to the struct mdio. One item of the structure is the devfn. I don't know how to find the devfn. There should be a 'find device ' call. But I don't find it. Another function is ger_resid_dev(unsigned long * ,CFG_DEVICE **).I don't know if it is useful and how to use it.
All help is appreciated.
