We are planning a product using two T1 framers.
This product will produce 48 bytes of data to read and 48 bytes of data to write
every 1/8000 second (125 usec.). We would like to use a 800 Mhz CPU
running Windows 2000 to handle this data. We plan to use a PCI interface
to the T1 framers to read/write the data.
Does anyone have any information on Windows 2000
latency? Can this be done? We would not be running any other
applications on this CPU, except for handling this data.
