Hi,

you need to use a PCI interface chip which supports bus mastering. The data
might either be transfered between the DSP and the PCI bus (which includes
host memory) by issuing direct writes by the DSP or using a DMA controller
in the PCI ínterface chip. The later is the prefered solution.

There are a couple of vendors for such PCI interface chips. FPGA base
solutions are also possible. QuickLogic has a mixture of both, an FPGA with
built in PCI interface macro. Such a chip might help to interface gluelessly
to your dsp. Saves costs and increases performance.
